Location: Norfork | Project Date: 2001 - Restoration of a two-story log dogtrot considered to be the oldest public structure in Arkansas. Services included historic research, physical fabric investigation, construction documents, and historic structure report. The project scope included chimney and foundation repairs, reframing of the first floor, log restoration and replacement, new reproduction shutters and doors, and a new wood shingle roof. The project received a 2004 Excellence in Preservation through Restoration Award from the Historic Preservation Alliance of Arkansas.
